Our website address is: https://instram.hu.

Comments

When submitting a comment, in addition to the information provided in the comment form, the commenter’s IP address and browser identification string are collected to filter out unwanted content.

A personalized character string (commonly called a hash) generated from the email address is transmitted to the InSTraM service if it is in use on the site. The InSTraM service terms can be viewed at: https://instram.hu/privacy-policy/. After the comment is accepted, the content of our comment and profile picture will appear publicly.

Media

If images are uploaded to the website by registered users, they should avoid EXIF data containing GPS location information. Website visitors can download and extract location data from images found on the website.

Cookies

When you write a comment on the website, we store your name, email, and website address in cookies. This storage serves convenience purposes so that you don’t have to fill in these fields for your next comment. These cookies expire after one year.

When visiting the login page, we set temporary cookies to determine if your browser accepts cookies. These cookies contain no personal information and are deleted when you close your browser.

When logging into the website, we create several cookies that save login information and display options for the editing interface. Login cookies are valid for two days, and screen option cookies for the editing interface are valid for one year. If you select “Remember me,” your login persists for two weeks. Upon logout, the login cookies are removed.

When editing a post or page, your browser stores an additional cookie. This cookie contains no personal data; it simply stores the ID of the post being edited. It expires after one day.

Embedded Content from Other Websites

Posts available on the website may use embedded content from external sources (e.g., videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from external sources behaves exactly as if you had visited another website.

These websites may collect data about visitors, use cookies, or third-party tracking codes, and monitor user behavior related to the embedded content if you have a user account and are logged into the site.

Who We Share User Data With

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How Long We Retain Your Data

When you comment, the comment and its metadata remain in the system indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For registered users (if any), personal information is also stored in their user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also view and edit this information.

What Rights You Have Over Your Data

If you have a registered account or have written comments, you can request an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Where We Send Your Data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
